The Evanescent Light Galleries have moved here to a new home For 25 years this website was been hosted by the University of California, Irvine. However, websites of major institutions will soon be required to become fully ADA compliant. It was impracticable to bring the Evanescent light galleries (containing >15000 images) to this standard. I thus moved my website to a new domain (evanescentlight.com) at a commercial host, where I will continue to update. Please bookmark the new Landing Page, where I hope you will continue to visit.
We have returned from an extended trip to Iceland and Eastern Greenland. Highlights included five days of puffin and bird photography on Grimsey island, experiencing the total solar eclipse from a small boat in Scoresby Sound, and drone photography of icebergs in the Sound. Photos of puffins and other birds of Iceland are now posted here.
